Our team at Web Theoria is particularly proud of our involvement in the “Explore Cyprus. #PameVouna” campaign, a collaboration with the non-profit organisation ETAP Troodos. The campaign aims to create a movement inspiring islanders to holiday in Cyprus and support the local communities and businesses of the Troodos mountain range during these trying times.

Star-Studded Launch

The campaign launched on the 11th of November 2020 and is already off to a strong start! Several Cypriot celebrities have already participated through social media, such as Nicolas Ioannides, Irene Karantoni, Marcella Marina Constantinou, Nicole Alexandrou and Kristy Agapiou among many others. #PameVouna has also caught the eye of the Cypriot media, with prominent online publication City.com covering the campaign in an article, as well as many other Instagram users who have embraced the hashtag #PameVouna and have used it in their own posts.

Explore the Island’s Green Heart

The campaign encourages the Cypriot population to explore the mountainous heart of their homeland, as Troodos is home to hundreds of culturally significant villages that have managed to maintain their traditions throughout the years, yet remain undiscovered.  All these serve as excellent holiday destinations for the winter, with plenty of accommodation that combines tradition with luxury, as well as a plethora of local businesses.

The “Explore Cyprus. #PameVouna” campaign is of special significance this year, as Cypriot businesses are in dire need of support due to the Coronavirus. If you wish to contribute to the campaign, you can do so by either posting a photo or a story of yourself at a location in the Troodos region and including the hashtag #PameVouna.
