In the summer of 2023, Web Theoria started an exciting journey with Pluton Travel & Tours to create their new website. Over nine months, our team carefully crafted the website from scratch, integrating the latest technologies to ensure seamless automations and a unique user experience. The project included numerous updates and strategic SEO to achieve high organic results.

Our goal was to develop a modern website that would not only enhance user experience but also ensure high visibility through effective SEO. The project spanned approximately nine months, during which we designed and implemented custom templates to handle the wide variety of travel packages offered by Pluton.

One of the key challenges was developing interactive templates for hundreds of pages, ensuring a smooth and engaging user interface. A significant feature of the new website is the testimonials section, which includes around 700 testimonials from people who have travelled with Pluton Travel & Tours. This section links directly to Instagram, allowing users to see real-time feedback and experiences. Additionally, we integrated a user-generated content (UGC) feature that is managed internally, giving Pluton complete control over managing and adding testimonials, ensuring authenticity and direct engagement with their clients.

We also implemented a comprehensive one-off SEO strategy to maintain Pluton’s top rankings for Greek travel destinations. This involved technical SEO aspects such as 301 and 302 redirects, proper heading tags, meta-data optimization, and image optimization, all contributing to improved website loading times and search engine rankings.

We had an excellent collaboration with the professional team at Pluton Travel & Tours, which was key in achieving these results. This new website continues our long-standing relationship, having first created their initial website in 2016 and providing four significant facelifts over the years.
