Think about the last Reel you actually watched until the end. Chances are, it was not just a polished graphic or a product sitting on a screen. It probably had a person in it, a voice, a reaction, a story, or something that made the content feel more real.

That is exactly how social media has changed. More brands are choosing to show the people behind what they do, work with creators and influencers, and use video to make their content feel more personal and easier to connect with. At Web Theoria, we have been part of that change through the content we create every day, and reaching our 100th content creation session gave us the perfect reason to look back at what really goes into the videos people see online.

So, What Happens Before You See the Final Reel?

A lot more than you might think. Before anyone steps in front of the camera, there is an idea that needs to become a piece of content people will actually want to watch.

Our content team starts by looking at what we want to communicate and how we can turn it into a video that works naturally on social media. From there, we develop the concept, write the script when one is needed and decide who would be the right person to bring it to life. That could be someone from the brand itself, an influencer, a creator or someone we have selected specifically for the shoot.

Once the idea and the people are in place, it is time to start filming. Depending on the project, a content creation session can involve:

  • Professional cameras, microphones and lighting equipment
  • Different locations, setups and scenes
  • Direction and support for the people appearing on camera
  • Product demonstrations, interviews, reactions or scripted videos
  • Multiple takes to get the right result
  • Behind-the-scenes content that can also be used across social media

And when the cameras stop recording, the work is not over. Our editors select the right footage, put everything together and prepare the final videos, ready to be shared.

Finding the Right People for Each Video

Not every brand wants to appear on camera, and not every idea needs an influencer. That is why we also take care of finding the right people for each shoot, depending on the style of the video, the message and the audience. Through our casting process, we can select people who feel natural on camera and fit the concept, helping the final video feel more genuine and relevant to the brand.

100 Sessions Look Like This

One of the things we enjoy most about content creation is that no two days look the same. One day we may be filming inside a restaurant, the next in a showroom, an office or outdoors. Sometimes we work with people who are used to being on camera, while other times it is someone appearing in a Reel for the very first time.

That variety has been a big part of our first 100 sessions. Different places, different people and very different ideas have all come through our cameras, giving our team the experience to understand what works in different situations and, just as importantly, how to make the people taking part feel comfortable.

There are also plenty of things that never make it into the finished video: setting up the equipment, testing the sound, moving the lights, going through the script, trying another take and, of course, the laughs in between. So, for our 100th session, we decided to show you some of that side too.

It Takes More Than a Camera

Having professional equipment makes a difference, but equipment alone does not create good content. You need to know what you want to say, who should say it and how to present it in a way that makes sense to the people watching.

This is why content creation at Web Theoria brings different members of our team together. Content writers work on the ideas and scripts, our social media team considers how the content will work on each platform, and our content creators and videographers handle the production. Once filming is complete, our editors take over and turn the footage into the final videos.

Having the whole process within one team means the person writing the idea understands how it will be filmed, the person behind the camera knows what the content needs to achieve, and the final edit stays true to the original concept.

Why Are More Brands Choosing This Type of Content?

Because sometimes seeing a real person explain, use or talk about something says much more than another static post.

It can be the owner talking about something they know well, a member of the team answering a common question, an influencer introducing a product or someone simply showing how something works. The format changes depending on what needs to be communicated, but the aim is the same: to create content that feels relevant to the people watching it.

And as social media continues to move towards video, being comfortable in front of the camera is no longer something reserved for influencers. More and more people are becoming part of the content behind the brands they know and follow.

And Now, On to 101

Reaching 100 content creation sessions is something we are proud of, not simply because of the number, but because of everything behind it: the ideas we have developed, the places we have filmed, the people we have met and all the content we have created along the way.

Our cameras are already getting ready for session 101.
